I disovered Trummers quite by accident when I looking for Truffle Fries for my son. We found Trummers, and the fries and their chicken were outstanding. That's when I knew I had to bring my wife here for Valentine's Day. And Trummers did not disappoint! That meal was the best we've had since moving to Virginia. If you are having trouble finding great food, service, and atmosphere, I can't rave about Trummers enough.

The food at this place was good, but the service was awful. It was not the servers fault, they were clearly understaffed. One couple even got tired of waiting and left before their order was taken. You’d think they would‘ve made more of an effort on Valentine’s Day.

We dined in for Valentine’s Day and took advantage of the 3 course pre fix menu. The flavors were excellent, but the portions for both the appetizers and desserts were barely more than a mouthful. I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed everything about the experience. Maybe shrinkflation?

We visited Brix on Valentine’s Day. I ordered the chicken piccata, and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the pork chops and really enjoyed them. Brix is a real gem— a comfortable, classy, casual restaurant where you’re greeted with a smile and the servers can practically read your mind. Jose was attentive yet unobtrusive, and this added to an already perfect evening. We will be back on a regular basis!

Our second time here, and it was just as amazing as the first time. First and most important, the food is amazing. I love Greek/Mediterranean food, and this is literally just as good as when I was in Santorini. Fresh, Very flavorful, expertly prepared. Service is very friendly and prompt. It's a lovely, simple place, clean and welcoming. Of special note, get the fried cheese (Saganaki), and the grilled Octopus is fantastic. The lamb chops are amazing. Seriously, just get everything 😁
