We had heard great things about Little D's and we were not disappointed. We shared the beef tartare (a favorite of ours and hard to find), I had the shrimp pasta and hubby had the mahi mahi. All creative but not overwhelmed with excessive ingredients, and yummy! As the menu is small, I recommend taking a look online before going to see if there will be enough options for you. It is a little on the pricey side, but as I had a small plate as my main (and that's all I can eat!) it kept the bill down. Kind of nice not having leftovers for once! We left feeling full and well-taken care of (especially by our server Andrew) and will be back.

We had a wonderful evening. Excellent service and our meal was outstanding.

We started with the lemon pizza which was an interesting and delicious combination. We both chose in house made pastas. The pastas were excellently prepared but the mafaldine pasta dish was lacked flavor as the sauce was minimal. The kholrabi side dish was unusual and delectable. The Panna Cotta was authentically prepared , creamy and topped beautifully with glass sugar and salted crumbles. Our server gave a thorough introduction to the restaurant including information about the chefs, locally sourced farms and the items on the menu. We will be returning soon.

Glass Onion is a consistent favorite of mine, my friends and family. The entrees are always exceptional -- creative combinations, beautiful presentation, generous portions. Staff is very friendly and helpful, describing dishes and aiding diners with any allergies or food issues. I recommend this lovely restaurant without reservation!

The Dining Room's elegance, ambience, superb food and service make the price worthwhile for a special evening. Menu choices were varied; the food exceptional. We were given a bread basket with 3 different savory offerings, amuse bouche, and a small sweet treat after dinner. We were not rushed at all--we had ample time to make selections, and between courses. Those extra touches are appreciated. The Dining Room is special for guests staying at the estate but locals should remember it as an option as well.
