The aim is to source the best produce available locally and beyond to prepare delicious dishes with no fuss to let the quality of the produce shine. A beautiful warm and inviting country pub, complimented by exceptional service and incredible food. We walked from Henley through Harpsden Woods into Shiplake and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Couldn’t fault anything. We have dined all over the area and it is so rare to find a place that delivers on all fronts. Cost, ambience, service and food second to none. Can not recommend enough and can’t wait for our next visit!

Excellent Service and excellent food. Will definitely be returning and very happy to recommend to family and friends. I booked a table here to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband and we were presented with a surprise dessert which was a lovely surprise. Such a wonderful jester.
