Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. Having been to the Ivy Cardiff a number of times, Ivy Asia was a different eating experience with the same quality and ambience. A Wednesday lunchtime with a friend, we chose the lunch deal which was excellent value. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty with a touch of spice. Service was extremely good and pre lunch cocktails at the bar were expertly made. I did like that the beautiful washrooms were on ground floor level. Overall it was a very good lunch.

What a lovely restaurant in the centre of Old Beaconsfield. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff, high quality two course lunch for £40 each with some lovely surprise additions before and throughout the meal. Having exquisite company was also delightful 😁

We were fortunate enough to have Akhtar on service. Our overall experience was superb from the moment we entered Opheem. We have eaten at numerous Michelin starred restaurants throughout the country. Opheem is certainly as good as any. Front of house and serving staff are excellent and prepared to go the extra mile. Loved it! We’ll be back.
