We had an amazing valentines dinner! We opted not to do the VDay special bc my husband has shellfish allergies.. but everything we did choose was AMAZING! We started with the Bacon Steak… which I’ll admit I was skeptical, since I like thin crispy bacon.. but it was sooo good! We each had a salad l.. Cesar & house. I had the filet, cooked medium & Lobster tail.. hubs had the Aged Ribeye medium rare, and then we shared the generous portion of sour cream mashed potatoes. All were perfectly cooked! We finished off the evening with the special chocolate cake to go.. and ate it cuddled up on the couch at home.. was so moist and just the right amount of sweet!

Had a nice dinner the day after Valentines. Had an early reservation as we were going to a show afterward, and dinner was served efficiently/quickly. Restaurant was very busy. Service was good. Tuna poke bowl was great- tuna was so smooth. Mistakenly thought there was a valet, but thankfully there is a parking deck right next to the restaurant.

Best Waygu filet with the roasted garlic! Wife enjoyed the risotto with the sea bass. I'm glad our servers explained that the waygu lagensa is more of an appetizer and not an entree even though my personal opinion the bread it could be. The cheese potatoes and creamed spinach is superb sides as well. The steak was top 3 from Jeff Ruby and Peter Lugers.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant . Everything was great. Although the Prices are very high. My husband was very surprised to see that a martini was 21.00 with very little in the glass. I had a vodka and soda. I could barely taste the vodka. He loved the sole. but sides are extra. Bread was great. Probably will not rush back to Joe Muer. We like other high end restaurants better with better pricing. More for your money.

First, we love the Hermitage Hotel and consider Drusie and Darr to be a tasteful, seamless extension of it. The restaurant and adjacent bar have been our go-to places for dinner before shows at the nearby TPAC or for after-performance drinks. We even meet our advisor quarterly in the bar or restaurant. He flies in and never fails to comment on the relaxing atmosphere after rushing through BNA. Our latest drinks and dinner at Drusie and Darr was the beginning of a sort of mini adult getaway. We checked into the hotel, headed down and spent enjoyable time in the restaurant, before heading over to TPAC. As to our dinner, my wife had the blackened sea bass and I, the warm shrimp salad. We shared the roasted cauliflower. My only complaint (minor) is that the salad seemed underdressed. The delicious buttery, citrussy dressing was simply drizzled over each of the shrimp; leaving the lettuce mix somewhat naked. Granted, I'm a dressing lover. Finally: we’ve eaten in other Jean-Georges restaurants and like most of them. One of the things we like about Drusie and Darr, however, is that one knows exactly where he or she will be seated: none of the being relegated to the “kid’s table” in adjacent spaces or at its very worst, the basement at the Pound Ridge Inn in NY.
