Our restaurants are located in Ongar Essex (just off the A414) and Wapping in central London (near Tower Bridge). Both restaurants boast an extensive menu of fresh fish that we offer to cook in a variety of ways to suit every palette. We also offer locally sourced meat dishes to accommodate those who prefer their food terra firma. To compliment the quality of our food we have worked closely with well renowned independent wine merchants to ensure we have a selection of wines that are the perfect accompaniment to every meal. I’m a massive fish fan so this restaurant is perfect ! There is also a meat section on the menu and partner had fillet steak which he said was fantastic. The food and service is excellent and we will definitely be returning to Smiths, really enjoyed it.

Lovely lunch if a little noisy as it was packed on a Wednesday lunchtime. Chef did the linguine with tomato rather than cream for us and it.was yummy! Thank you. Managed half a crumble each and that was lovely too.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. Ps..... lovely to see you today Gareth x
