Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. First time at Try Thai. Won’t be our last, either. We love Thai food and this is the best we’ve had in Manchester. Already planning to go back late January for my birthday.

Fantastic. Took a seat at the bar for a solo night meal as was in town for work. The Christmas burger was sublime and wine, beer and dessert wine! Service was excellent - friendly and chatty when I wanted and when I was cradling my beer and reading my book, they left me alone. Chips were amazing.

A great lunch for 6 of us at a capacious table near the kitchen area (as requested). The menu is extensive, plus there was a festive option. Service was prompt and courteous. One of our go-to places when meeting in Manchester. Sometimes we meet there just for cocktails or out door coffee in the summer

We had a lovely time. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff and chef coped really well with my husbands allergy. Champagne was excellent and the cakes were particularly pretty. The staff were very attentive and pleasant
