The Braybrook Hotel is situated on Ballarat Rd in Braybrook and has recently undergone an extensive renovation, engaging all sections of the hotel creating a fresh and modern look, while also retaining a link to its rich history from the mid 1800’s. However, the earliest rate record found for this building was in 1863-4 when Charles Niven Young was the licensee and John Lang was the owner. The dumplings were artistic and very tasty. Not to mention the waffle hearts, they were top notch and not overly sweet. Service was immaculate and the ambience was stunning. Really worth a try!

I don’t know that you can describe the experience at Shelanous! It was like being Alice in Wonderland, the setting, the music , the staff and the food are like nothing you have ever experienced before. Rony and his team are exceptional and there is such a joy that comes with this whole dining experience that you have to see it to believe it. This has become our top restaurant ever! WOW. Thank you so very much.

The kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and there were lots of GF options available. Waiter was excellent and very helpful. There was no push to get rid of us so we were able to sit around after our lunch chatting. Definitely heading back for another visit.
