Tel Aviv beach vibes, upbeat Israeli tunes and fresh scents of falafel and sizzling skewers will welcome you into Rina. Casual, fresh and bright plates, putting a unique spin on traditional Israeli street food and hospitality traditions. Some recipes, including the falafel, have been passed down for generations through Baum’s (our owner!) family and were first served at Rina’s own falafel stand in Israel in the 1950’s. The food and beer was excellent. We both had steaks and they were cooked properly and the sides were well-seasoned (great fries!). We had the fried cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious…crunchy, sugary and rich. Service was timely and pleasant. It was a lovely experience.

First time at Little Sparrow, and we were blown away by how good it was. Frites are to die for. Dover Sole was perfect. French Onion soup amazing. Abbie was tremendous and was so good at guiding us through the menu and other offerings. Strongly recommend.

Had to ask for bottled water. The pitcher being poured from keep having debris floating around. It was not the glasses. Good, take it or leave it. Not awful. Our waitress was fantastic!

I apologize for not remembering the name of our server. Hopefully you can look this up under our reservation. But that gentleman, overheard me discussing my birthday and the birthday of my daughter. He brought us free dessert, wished me a happy birthday, knowing my daughter was not at the dinner with us, and wish both of us a wonderful birthday and a happy life. He was wonderful.
