It all started in 1992, when Annette and Gerner Andresen opened the Lighthouse Café in Sausalito in its present form. The Andresens, both born in Denmark, had recently immigrated to the U.S., and along with them they brought the Scandinavian flair for simplicity, good quality and tasty food. The café has over the years become famous for its breakfast and lunch, with American classics like good old-fashioned burgers and a great selection of omelets, along with Scandinavian classics like Danish Meatballs or Norwegian Salmon.     We loved our evening at Milos Meze. The service from the moment we stepped in the restaurant, until we left, was attentive, personable and charming. We started with a delicious Amarone wine with fried cheese and Greek salad, which were all scrumptious. We really enjoyed the lamb shank dinner and rice pudding for dessert. It was the perfect place to indulge!

    A great place to have lunch. A hidden gem overlooking the water. Sat at a hightop table. Our waiter was good. The burger was excellent and so was the chicken cilantro salad.

    Party of 6 with 3 young children. Service excellent. Kitchen got the kids food out 1st as requested & very quickly—-yes! My salmon moist, underlying roasted veggies very good. Wife had special ravioli (house made pasta!) which she also said was terrific. Will continue coming back.
