A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. What a beautiful find for Sunday lunch. Marked 1 star down on food as it would have been nice to have an option on the roast meat. Luckily we both like pork so we’re good but could be a problem for some. The staff and surroundings were great. We shall definitely return.

We had another enjoyable lunch at The Royal Oak today with friends. Excellent food . The food on Sunday 22nd December was also excellent when we met family there . I would highly recommend!
