I had a very nice experience. Despite dining as a party of only one, staff was friendly, attentive, knowlegable, and helpful. If I had to quibble about something it would be that the small dinner salad arrived dressed; however I had not specifically requested dressing on the side so really that was my bad. The server was cooperative about pacing the meal as I requested. The food was tasty, arrived at appropriate temperatures. Portions were not huge but very sufficient. I ended up taking half the appetizer and half the entry home to provide a second meal. They have a large selection of distilled beverages available. The ones I tried were excellent and not unreasonably priced. The desert I had (peanut butter pie) would have easily served two people. It was deliciously rich.

My steak was perfect, as well as the halibut and the fried oysters. Service was great as usual

The roasted Brussels sprouts were crisp and tender with good seasoning. I prefer bacon bits to pork belly though. We also shared a nice salad and the half chicken between the two of us. We still had left overs for another meal. Our waiter was excellent, perfect timing and very engaging, he surprised us with a birthday scoop of rich chocolate ice cream.

I was really looking forward to a quiet, slightly romantic birthday dinner with my husband but we were sat at a big table just for the 2 of us when there was other options. And I put on reservation it was for a birthday but nothing was said or anything so we just ate and left, after paying. Food was good but pasta was undercooked still quite hard, sauce and chicken parm was great but noodles were not good. Just though seating was weird and it was a little more like a sports bar then it look like online.

My favorite Mexican restaurant ANYWHERE… and I lived in CA for 28 years!
