The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz. The front entrance leads guests to the elegant front dining room with the stage being the focal point. The back entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Lunch has its own unique offerings, and the Bar offers distinct offerings for Happy Hour. We chops the Sahara for dinner before the concert at the Fox. The lamb chops and deboned chicken was great. We had side car cocktails that were excellent.

Everything was wonderful with two exceptions: 1) smell of weed was overwhelming as I and my guests entered the building . 2) waitress did not inform guests that there was 20% gratuity already included, this some of us overpaid as we split the bill evenly. She let folks add another tip without saying anything and it wasn’t caught until the 3rd person was about to pay.

Everything was perfect. Running behind because of accident on 75 South. The reception we received at check in was great. No attitude, everyone very pleasant! Our waitress was very professional and went above and beyond to make our dinner enjoyable ! Even one of the bus boys went out of his way to get us a tooth pick. Only unpleasantry of the evening was the loss!!! We will return! Thank you for a memorable night !!!
