I love that this restaurant is so convenient. Good food! Be careful—the greens are spicy!! Everything is tasty. Simple, good food. Easy atmosphere.

Kenya is the best there is! Absolutely wicked time celebrating my birthday. Highly recommend. The only issue was a friend had ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp, as she's a strict pescatarian. However, it came with some chicken. The servers were very kind and reasonable in wanting to amend the matter. Hoping we can have more options for other food sensitivities like GF, but otherwise this is the most magical place. You will get entertained for the gods, and dance with so much joy. I had the best time ever!

Amazing food and service. It was super easy to reserve even on the night of. Food shows up super fast and the workers are super friendly and personalable. I would highly recommend and my wife and I make this one of our stops everytime we are in in Hyde park for a staycation or date night.

I visited Jordyn’s Café in Hyde Park yesterday with a group of friends for a sit-down dinner, and once again, I had a fantastic experience. This was my third time at the restaurant, and Jathan was our host and server once again. He is truly one of the best servers I’ve encountered in a long time—attentive, professional, and always with a pleasant attitude. He took care of all our needs with ease, and I really appreciated how he remembered me from previous visits and greeted me with such kindness. The food was, as usual, amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant, paired with great music, makes it one of my favorite places to eat in the neighborhood. It’s a great social spot that never disappoints. Thank you again, Jathan, for being such a wonderful and attentive host—your service makes every visit special! Mz. D

Had a quality time of dining at Virtue this week. The Sazarac was spirit forward, just how I like it and service was prompt and attentive. I ordered the gizzard for my appetizer, it's been since childhood since I've had this and it didn't disappoint - seasoned, crunchy flour coating with a tender bite on a bed of rice. Ordered the short rib and it was tender to the touch. cut it with a fork, no need to use a nice because it just easily came apart. Well seasoned, different flavor notes and comfort on a cold winter day. The mashed potato bed with spinach was a great accompaniment and added to this meal. Definitely getting the short ribs again.
