The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. Our happy place - always a wonderful welcome - wonderful food and service. Charlotte (our server this evening) and the lovely land lady are always so welcoming friendly and warm.

We were delighted with the menu, the restaurant was very comfortable and we had great waiting staff. The food was very well presented in Earl plates and was full of taste and flavor.

The venue is great; the noise level was nice and quiet as there were not too many people there; dog friendly which we loved. The food was great if maybe slightly overpriced. The waiter we had was also great!

Having travelled to London in the past and enjoyed afternoon teas in various locations, we were very pleased that the newly opened Canterbury Ivy were offering Afternoon Tea. We cannot speak too highly of our whole experience. The three tiered selection, together with side plate of warm scones, all looked and tasted delicious - the savoury and sweet items, each with its own lovely flavours. The service was excellent - efficient, friendly and helpful, all of which created a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning

The food was absolutely outstanding.The ambiance was amazing,but the stand out feature were the staff who were all absolutely 1st class.I would like to thank them for being so attentive and friendly!!!😄😄👍👍
