From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, welcoming and engaged. All too often people ignore the fact that these hardworking individuals have given up their Christmas day to make yours special. They certainly delivered on all fronts. The service was exceptional and the food wonderful. Overall the experience was excellent and after a very challenging year it was lovely to be spoilt. Well done Team Boulevard.

Christmas Eve meal for 5 foodie adults.Perfection from the moment we walked in to a young guy who checked us in,really friendly and warm,but efficient too.Food on point.5 clean plates for each course.Our waiter made us relaxed,he had the right amount of professionalism/cheeky banter.Christmas began on the right foot at The Cartford once again

The Legh arms food and service is exceptional. Make sure you book in advance to avoid being disappointed. I would recommend anyone to give the Legh arms a try. We will definitely be back again very soon.

An excellent dining experience ! We have a Christmas dinner here every year, and it's so consistent. There are a few choices on the menu but we always opt for the traditional Christmas fayre - Prawn cocktail was served in a lovely sauce with crunchy bits, delicious, followed by an unusual Turkey Balloutine, really tasty with all the trimmings, nice cranberry sauce too ! Finished off with Christmas pud, sauce & ice cream , very yummy ! With our glass of white wine followed by a bottle of red, it was the perfect meal. Portions were just the right size, well cooked and presented with style. A lovely atmosphere and ambience, beautiful decorations, everyone happily chatting around you and enjoying themselves. Much credit to the staff who served us - smiling, chatty but still in their professional mode, nothing rushed, the right timings between courses, service was impeccable, in fact - Everything was PERFECT !! Great food. Has the belly pork Sunday lunch which was beautiful then the apple and raspberry crumble
