The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste.     We had a 7pm reservation. When we got there we were seated right away. The waiter got our orders but we waited for almost an hour to be served our appetizers and drinks. The Chef assigned to us came like after 30mins we finished our appetizers. Chef Alex cooked our orders very good. It was yummy! or maybe we were just too hungry haha! Anyways, It was my birthday celebration and i was happy to celebrate my birthday there with my family and besties!

    It's a small place but staff was very friendly and the food was ample and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their order, which included Greek salad, their combo plate, and Roquefort chicken. We had requested a quiet location and got one. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear the two musicians in the front room but their music was piped in.
