Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

Took Saturday lunch in the super, clean and comfortable dining area with good tasty pub grub and staff that went the yards to ensure we remained comfortable and happy. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took to the bar and chilled late into the evening. The landlady and bar staff couldn't do more to have us feel happy. We will return!

Always fabulous food and service and the fact that it is not licenced isn’t a problem. Their homemade lemon juice is delicious and accompanies the food perfectly. Our go to place for any occasion.
