Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. Lovely ambiance, and the steaks and cocktails are fantastic. We went on a Wednesday lunch time so it was very quiet, but it didn’t stop us enjoying our visit. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely experience, turned up about 30 mins early and sat down in the lounge area with a drink, staff were really friendly and polite, the afternoon tea was beautifully laid out and tasted fantastic light yet filling, I would highly recommend it, we will be rebooking in the future

Although the management of The Bakery has changed, the table settings and service were still a high standard. There was less choice of menu options, but quality was still a good standard. In conclusion, a relaxing evening with friends.
