We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews. Everything about this place was fantastic. In addition to having the most magical holiday decor in town and a great waterfront view, the food and service were top notch. I ordered one of the specials (shrimp gnocchi in pesto sauce), which was out of this world. The bartender even indulged me by making a holiday drink not found on the cocktail menu. Parking was easy as well since Ampersea is located just outside the busy part of Fells Point. I highly recommend Ampersea to anyone who is looking for a memorable night out. It's always great, but those holiday decorations and comfort food winter specials easily put Ampersea at the top of my list at this time of year. I plan to go back next week to enjoy it in all its winter splendor one more time before those stunning decorations and delectable specials are gone.

We had a really nice time. The ambiance is great. The servers were so very attentive. I’m pretty sure I ordered the Rockfish and got the Halibut, so that makes it hard to give them 5 stars. Also, the fish was a little tougher than I expected. But all the food generally tasted great and seemed well prepared. The apps were amazing.

Everything was so incredible. I will definitely be coming back with my family. The ambience the food. The service were 10 out of 10. It’s a beautiful restaurant to celebrate. If you have an occasion you’re celebrating or just for a date night. I definitely recommend recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a special place to dine. All of the staff from the front to those that were waiting on us at our table were absolutely incredible. Customer service is a huge deal for me so to have such incredible people waiting on us making us feel special was wonderful.
