We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews. Took my wife there for a date night and everything was terrific. Great food and staff. The chef even came out to ask how everything was and discuss how he prepares some of the dishes.

Food and drinks were AWESOME! For the 3 of us we bought a Crab Pretzel appetizer and a Combo platter. Service was very good but no serving utensils were provided for our shared side dishes that came with the Combo platter. Since we are family we used our personal utensils but this really should not happen.

Everything about this place was fantastic. In addition to having the most magical holiday decor in town and a great waterfront view, the food and service were top notch. I ordered one of the specials (shrimp gnocchi in pesto sauce), which was out of this world. The bartender even indulged me by making a holiday drink not found on the cocktail menu. Parking was easy as well since Ampersea is located just outside the busy part of Fells Point. I highly recommend Ampersea to anyone who is looking for a memorable night out. It's always great, but those holiday decorations and comfort food winter specials easily put Ampersea at the top of my list at this time of year. I plan to go back next week to enjoy it in all its winter splendor one more time before those stunning decorations and delectable specials are gone.
