56 West Smithfield was founded by a family of winemakers, with a passion for creating unique, hand-crafted wines. Our family vineyard, Château De La Cômbe, is a small, boutique vineyard in Provence. Determined to make exceptional reds and whites in a region renowned for its rosés, we spent years lovingly restoring the chateau and estate, rebuilding the winemaking cave with state-of-the-art equipment and re-planting and tending to the vines. Fast, efficient yet friendly service. Food excellent - had a perfect prawn pad thai. Only slight gripe was how quick we were turfed out but to be fair it was a busy lunch time so most people are on a tight schedule at lunch. Plus some of our party were late which delayed our ordering. We didn't hold it against them - lovely team. I'll be back for sure!

I had a really wonderful experience at The Hope. There were flowers and candles on the tables and some brilliant music playing. The atmosphere was lovely! I had the Vegan pie and mash and it was so lovely - I'll certainly be visiting on my lunch breaks again in the near future! The staff were really kind and helpful. A cute little traditional pub with great food.
