The Local Cafe and Restaurant was created to offer experiential learning opportunities for our students. The Local is located on Centennial College, Progress Campus. At The Local, the hospitality, culinary and baking students learn in the restaurant as part of their embedded courses as well as their field placement's under the direction of our Faculty, Chef and Restaurant Technicians. Six of us enjoyed lunch today. The service by all the servers was great. The restaurant had some business but was not overly busy and therefore the noise level was great for us to enjoy our visit.

Exemplary food - different tastes that worked so well together. Very reasonably priced - lovely presentation. Students polite, attentive - instructor nice enough to take the time to ask about our culinary experience. Will definitely tell my friends and plan to return.
