The Hartwood Restaurant enjoys a rich history. The originally the headquarters of the Harmar Coal Company. Purchased in 1988, the building was transformed into retail space, including antiques and a bookstore. My wife and I decided to celebrate her birthday at Eleven. We were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful! We started early with $9 cocktails at the bar. We had Martinis with Plymouth Gin for only $9. They were great! Then we got $9 glasses of wine to take to our table. We ordered oysters to start, and they tasted so fresh, sweet & briny. My wife had the pork chop and I had the radiatori. They were both delicious. Finally, we had the Trio of Ice Creams with very rich & creamy vanilla bean, lavender honey, & maple brown walnut butter. They were all so good. Nick, our server was excellent too. He never rushed us, but he seemed to be always there to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything.

We were in glass enclosed room so noise level was low. Meals were very good & our waitress was exceptional

Another wonderful meal at Hyde Park Prime. Service was excellent throughout the entire experience. We had calamari for an app which we highly recommend. Delish! We chose “early bird “ dinners which was more than enough food. We added the brussel sprouts and they were also delish. Drinks were great along with the chocolate torte cake. Our “go to” place when we’re in Pittsburgh. Reservations are a must.
