Welcome to The Red Lion Bishopgate!On the banks of the River Wensum and a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral. We serve fresh, locally sourced food all day, everyday. Our head chef Tom has created a menu suitable for everyone, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. We serve a delicious Sunday roast every weekend.Brunch is also available every weekend 10:00am-12 noon (11:30am on Sundays). Please see below our food serving times:Monday - Thursday: 12:00-20:00Friday & Saturday: 12:00-21:00Sunday: 12:00-19:00 with a choice of roasts and bar classics.We always leave some tables free, so if you can't make a booking just pop in to see if you can grab a table! Large car park for customers.Please note, your booking is allocated for 2 hours. Tables in the garden are rain proof and we do have heating, but may not be suitable in heavy rain. Fabulous as always ❤️ Staff amazing Food exceptional My favourite place in Norwich And the new lions den ... is such a beautiful new addition.. Cosy , warming outdoor little den with firepits , blankets , mulled wine , toasting marshmallows,outdoor saunas , pure genius ambience... nothing beats this place in Noriwch It's a must go to !!

I was very grateful for a vegan option of a roast dinner. However the nut roast lacked flavour and texture, but still tasty. May be consider adding a vegan Yorkshire pud. Also it would be nice to have more than one vegan choice on the desert menu. Overall a lovely meal My go to pub for drinks and food I will return Thank you 😊
