The Cavalier is a London-inspired brasserie, located adjacent to Hotel Zetta in San Francisco's SoMA neighborhood. The upscale British influenced restaurant is brought to you by Executive Chef Jennifer Puccio, managing partner James Nicholas, and award winning San Francisco designer, Ken Fulk. The 135-seat restaurant is divided into four unique, intimate spaces: the Blue Bar, Main Dining Room, Wine Stables, and Rail Car.     We loved the lamb ribs and the mushroom gnocchi. My server was excellent and her barbera suggestion was perfect for my beef tartare. This was my first time there in a few years and I’m so glad I made it back. The space is beautiful and location is perfect for me coming from the east bay because it’s so close to BART. I won’t be waiting so long to return this time

    The team was super attentive from the second we checked in. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, Bo and his team made sure our birthday person had a good experience. The overall ambiance is good, with fun Japanese music in the background allowing guests to have conversation but not overwhelmed by other noises. The chef presented beautifully made 19 course omakase. He too was polite and paced our meal based on the flow of our group. We didn’t try the beverage pairing this time, but there will be a next time!

    Really great food and a fun atmosphere for a birthday dinner! Slightly too loud but the food made up for it and the service team was phenomenal
