Maison Carlos is a continental restaurant with an emphasis on French and Italian cuisine. Carlos and Lanie Farias opened Maison Carlos in December of 2002. After seven years on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, the couple made the decision to move their establishment a couple miles south to the El Cid neighborhood. They wanted a smaller restaurant with more of a neighborhood vibe. The new space has only eleven tables and is open for dinner only. Carlos is there every night, seating people, taking orders and is very hands on. Being open only for dinner Carlos spends his days shopping for the restaurant, selecting only the freshest ingredients.

Would have given five stars but when we entered no one checked us in had to wait awhile as the waiter was doing that as well. It was my husbands bd and they wanted to seat us by door he was ready to walk out as I made the plans two months ago and asked for a nice table but they finally gave us a table in back . Note all table are for four people no real twos except o e by door . Horrible set up but good food

Beautiful view! We ordered mahi sandwiches that were delicious! It was a Monday evening in January but warm enough to sit out. Although always very windy so take a wrap. Only thing missing was a lively environment, needed music.

Fantastic place to have food. Being from Chicago we always try to go to places we don’t have back home. This is definitely one of those places!! Drinks were good, food was good…. We will be back!
