Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea. Christmas lunch was outstanding. Such beautiful table settings when we walked in and of course the beautiful view. The service was impeccable for such a busy day. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Thank you Bathers for a wonderful Christmas lunch.

Vibes are immaculate, top notch food just kept on coming (which we love), drinks were on top, staff were very patient, and there was entertainment!! Always lively and fun, honestly can't wait to go back lol I love it here

Lovely atmosphere and food, staff were attentive, helpful, polite and friendly. Desserts were rather overpriced compared to the rest of the menu. Overall, highly recommend and will definitely be returning. 😍

The staff looked after us very well. They helped us with a table wherenwe could sit with our dog. The food was great! We had some issues with Uber Per and one of the staff members (I think it was Joel) came to ask us if everything was okay. I think he would have taken us home if we did not stay more than 30min away.
