Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. Food was delicious and service great. Special mention to gorgeous guy who let us sit in Santa's cave and took a heap of photos for us all, lovely gesture. And the amazing guy who let us walk through the lane way, he was beautiful also.

Needed somewhere to eat with my niece who is GF & coeliac.Staff went out of their way to ask 2 chefs,and find out. All was great, my niece was extremely happy with her meal, as we're the other 3 of us. Excellent service, friendly and competent staff. Menu has returned to one that offered wide range of choices, with great meal variety and options. Meals were hot and well presented.Thank you for a most enjoyable evening eveningvv

Absolutely perfect. The staff are amazing and truly accommodating. The food was spot on and the variety is unbelievable. We Have been here so many times and it has been such a pleasurable experience each and every time. Cant wait to return once again.
