Our stay at The Five Bells was outstanding value after a days Xmas shopping. This pub is so cozy and comfortable, an ideal place to relax. The food was lovely (we had dinner and breakfast) - the best lemon tart ever! I’d recommend the pub to anyone. Lovely touches in the room such as complimentary port and fudge

The food was absolutely amazing. Melt in the mouth brisket and ribs. The dining area was very welcoming as were the staff who were very friendly and efficient. The only issue I would say is the background music was just a tad too high which resulted in raised voices to speak over it.

A very warm welcome and a lovely little treat with your name in scrabble on the table. The young waitress seemed new however her service was excellent and asked again politely if she was unsure. The food came out in good time warm and very tasty. The menu was good covering all bases for what you would want. The am once was good and we could hear each other talk. Overall a lovely evening out and would recommend anyone to visit.
