Food was great as usual, service was slow which is not what we have found previously. We had to chase waiters to take our order. We are frequent diners and have previously found service to be quick and great. Hope it was just a temporary blip!

I’m fairly new to Canberra and was looking for an Italian restaurant for a date night and stumbled upon Briscola after a quick online search. Making the booking online was pain free. We were running a little late for our booked time and when I rang, the restaurant, to inform them, the person I spoke to was friendly and respectful. The service and food could not be faulted. The wine was brilliant. I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant looking for a wonderful Italian restaurant.

A fabulous night for a table of seven - 5 had the Vegetarian option, and 2 the Omnivore option. Service was discreet and atmosphere was quiet and congenial. The Vegetarian option was superb and great value for money. Thank you Monster Kitchen!

Nice casual lunch with all five of us enjoying our meals and wine. Three had the luncheon special and two ordered al a carte and all yum.
