Roberto Paciullo opened his namesake restaurant almost twenty years ago. Since then it has become a neighborhood favorite and a destination for those visiting Arthur Avenue. He prepares the cuisine of his beloved hometown Salerno, Italy. Jakes is the best restaurant. Tonight they were jammed and even so, the food, the service was the same wonderful food and the same warm service.\ We were six people,and we loved coming…Jakes is the best, We all try to go as frequently as possible.

The food was outstanding. Loved the sweet & sour prongs, the sea bass, the Frosé and Blue Hawaiian. The staff was nice but were kind of rushing us when we were trying to eat. Music was so good. DJ was definitely doing his thing!!

I went to celebrate my birthday with family and close friends. I had such a great time at Jalao. The food was great. The staff were so friendly and kind.
