The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. We had a minor problem with one of our meals. The way that it was dealt with went way above and beyond our expectations. The food was amazing and portion size big. We had the crispy chilli beef and Camembert to start, followed by the Skate wing and Cajun spiced flat iron steak. The crispy chilli beef tasted amazing and so fresh, the Camembert with homemade cheese straw was delicious. I had the flat iron steak and it was cooked to perfection and so tender. The skate wing was melt in the mouth amazing. We were too full to have dessert but have had one on a previous visit and they are incredible. All waiting staff and the manager were attentive and couldn’t have done more.

Love the food. Great choice. Starters are a bit expensive for the size of portion but the main courses are excellent and good value.

Had great service from Ed, who dealt with our drinks and our food. The ambience in the restaurant itself was lovely and mellow. The food was amazing and the price was exactly what you’d expect. Will definitely be back
