Itihaas restaurant in Birmingham is one stunning eaterie. This beautiful restaurant —the name means ‘history’ -- is the £2 million brainchild of businessman Raj Rana and it’s been raking in awards since it opened its doors. The décor is contemporary meets traditional with two dining rooms honouring colonial and maharaja eras – there are slate finished walls, original paintings, carved stone elephants, Jali marble window frames like those found in Mogul palaces and elegant black sari-clad hostesses. Chef Amardeep Saka offers intriguing dishes influenced by North India, Mumbai, Chinese fusion and Kenya. I had an amazing meal out with friends and family at The Rolling Mill. For starters, I enjoyed the pork belly with pineapple and the bratwurst sausage salad—both delicious and unique. My main course, shin of beef in bourguignon sauce, was perfectly tender and full of flavour. To finish, I had the croissant bread and butter pudding with custard, which was the perfect sweet ending. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive touch, creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Always highly recommend!

This was absolutely amazing took my two friends from work here the kids loved it the other day and so did we the atmosphere was impeccable and the food was at a very high standard love spot for a birthday meal or even a day out I would really recommend!
