Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. Fantastic Sunday roast dinner as always. We visit here often and it really does not disappoint everyone. Fresh, hot, tasty food on a cold day in the perfect atmosphere and surroundings. The staff are really attentive and friendly providing a great service. Thank you.

What an amazing experience! Absolutely LOVED the food here! All the little above and beyond elements were so wonderfully special. We were even treated to a walk about the kitchen garden and the kitchen itself after our exquisite dinner. The food here is to die for and has been so lovingly put together. We had the outstanding tasting menu and was surprised to find it very substantial indeed. Rohit (Head Waiter) was an absolute star. He looked after us so well, explained all the wines in the accompanying wine flight and chatted with us throughout the evening as if we were old friends - he made the evening better than we imagined possible. Yes, it is expensive - but we thought it was worth it. Don't just think about booking - do it! You will not be disappointed!

This is our second visit to Gilbey's and it was just as good as our first! We enjoyed the 3 course set menu and the food, service and value for money were all excellent. Gilbey's is really cosy and welcoming and looked especially lovely decorated for Christmas. Great range of drinks and wines too.
