We are a Italian restaurant situated in Mellieha. Since Mellieha is a small town which derives its name from the Arabic word for salt, we don’t think we could have found a more fitting area. The quaint town is an ideal location for a variety of reasons – no less for its tourist attractions. And what’s better than a cosy environment accompanied by food of outstanding value after a day at the beach? Not to toot our own horn, but our answer would be: not much. Staying true to our typical Italian demeanor, we always provide a service with a smile. Westreme restaurant in Mellieha designed to entertain the whole family for lunch and dinner in a bright space with breathtaking views of Mellieha Bay. Whilst making sure all pizza lovers are happy we have also created dishes that will enrich your meal. These include a selection of pastas and meats. A dedicated healthy menu for kids was also developed. The restaurant is also equipped with a dedicated area for children to entertain themselves safely. Our name is derived from the historically significant Westreme Battery that is located just around the corner. Built by the Order of St. John in 1715, this was actually the first line of defence breached by the French invaders in 1798. Over the years, the building was modified, restored and adapted for different uses. Today, only parts of it remain standing as a lasting testament to its illustrious past.

Il 13 maggio 1931, Giuseppe Cipriani aprì l'Harry's Bar a Venezia. Nel corso degli anni, Harry's Bar è diventato il luogo in cui scrittori, pittori, artisti, aristocratici, re e regine si sarebbero incontrati. Tra questi c'erano: Barbara Hutton, Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Giancarlo Menotti, Peggy Guggenheim, Orson Welles, Frank Lloyd Wright, Joe di Maggio, Truman Capote ed Ernest Hemingway. Le chiavi del successo di questo piccolo Bar sono state: servizio, libertà e mancanza di imposizione.Nel corso dei suoi 93 anni di storia, Harry's Bar è stato testimone del XX secolo a Venezia. La sua importanza è stata riconosciuta anche dal Ministero del Patrimonio Culturale italiano che lo ha dichiarato un punto di riferimento nazionale nel 2001.
