We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. As the Home of Afternoon Tea, we also serve some spectacular savoury versions of tea, including Beforenoon Tea, seafood option Afternoon Sea and our cheese-based option Afternoon Cheese. Please let us know your dietary adaptations for vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free or vegetarian teas at least 24 hours in advance.

It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Akways our go to place for Breakfast and afternoon teas. Great quality ingredients, cooked perfectly with a great ambience. The staff are extremely courteous and well presented making the whole experince a cut abouve your normal dining experience Can't reccomend highly enough

An excellent evening can be guaranteed by dining at Bishop’s. There is always a warm welcome from Alex and the front of house staff and you know that the food both by way of presentation & flavour is going to be fantastic, service excellent together with the overall ambience of the dining room. We wish Alex all the best for the future, but hope he doesn’t move on too soon.

Always a pleasure dining at the Bay . Food was amazing, and Jarrolds was buzzing. Lovely atmosphere, food and wine. Highly recommended and will soon be returning.

We were given a voucher from friends for our wedding anniversary so decided to try Tatlers, what a great idea, the food, service and attention to detail was second to none we will certainly return
