South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. My party of 10 had a great experience with Aaron. He was very attentive & caring. Any problem we had was resolved immediately. The entire staff that we interacted with was very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and Aaron as your server.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a fantastic dining experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is perfectly prepared, and the attention to detail is impeccable. A special shoutout to our server, Emerson, who truly elevated our evening with her outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure every aspect of our meal was perfect. If you’re looking for great food and exceptional service, Firebirds is the place to go! Highly recommend!
