The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. We popped in for an anniversary dinner with our little dog. The food and service was very good and we would have no problem recommending this pub to others. I had the Cottage pie with vegetables and my husband had the Hunters Chicken with chips and coleslaw . Both were good portions and very tasty although the chicken was a little tough. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our evening by the roaring fire which was lovely.
