Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday. Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen! Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

It was my 21st birthday and i ordered the flat iron steak - it was absolutely divine, cooked perfectly. I also got a scoop of ice cream with a candle in on the house! I always love coming here, it feels so sophisticated and classy but laid back at the same time. Every time i visit the Hermitage i have an amazing time. Prices were reasonable considering the quality.

Our team had a wonderful work Christmas lunch at Lussmanns Hitchin today. It provided a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Everybody loved their food and the staff were amazing. Can't wait to go back. There was a great selection on the menu - something for everyone. A big shout out for the sprout tops - we loved them. Thank you to the Lussmanns team.

I booked afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my daughter. We loved the setting and atmosphere of The Priory and were greeted warmly. I loved that we were introduced to the staff individually because it made us feel most welcome. The Presecco, the food and the tea was delicious and very nicely presented and service was good too. I would love to say everything was perfect but if I could make this observation it is a request for at least two more little sandwiches just to balance all the sweet things with savoury. But thank you . We had a lovely time.
