Our menu is seafood focused with fresh seafood direct from the trawlers next door. A hidden gem in the seaside village of Shorncliffe, but only a train ride from Brisbane. August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Excellent food on Sunday Lunch Sardine with fermented carrots on sourdough had balanced acidity The truffle stracciatella and hazelnuts/fresh figs was a cool dish with refreshing complexity Pork and cold iceberg was a brilliant Sunday roast On balance I would drop the music volume and mix it up on the playlist I will be back for excellent service and eclectic food.❤️😇

Our first experience eating at The Green was wonderful. First we were very late but we were assured there would be a table for us. We ordered the set menu for 4 and enjoyed every dish. The eggplant tart tatin was especially delicious.
