The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. Friendly , welcoming and professional staff , food was presented nicely , all hot , and overall tasted great. A variety to choose from too . Will definitely be recommending to people and looking to return very soon

The restaurant was really busy which is a testament to how much people enjoy coming here to eat. The service is always spot on, which was reflected in the tip left. They're always really polite, prompt, and friendly, so I hope the waitresses keep their own tips! Food is always spot on, never had a bad meal here so its always a top contender for restaurant if we fancy going out for food. Will definitely be back!
