THE WOODSMAN IS A TRULY BRITISH RESTAURANTWe use the best British ingredients, all sourced as sustainably as possible.We love using Wild food, and harvest much of it ourselves. All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Our food is cooked over wood from local plantations, and charcoal coppiced less than 20 miles away.We know the story of everything on the menu.Our lovely staff are extremely well informed, so, do ask questions on anything you’re not sure of.We hope you love this restaurant as much as we do and keep coming back.

The One Elm was the second pub in the Peach Pubs’ stable. It has long been a stalwart in the Stratford social scene. We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. Just two miles from the centre of Leamington Spa and a mile from the Fosse Way, the White Lion is easy to reach, with a warm welcome from our experienced team always ready with good beer, great cocktails, delicious wines and fresh seasonal quality food.

    It was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped in. The welcome was warm and friendly and the setting perfect. The food was delicious and the perfect amount, we had three courses and every one was just right. The waitress was attentive and friendly, the speed of service was spot on. We would highly recommend this restaurant and even though we are only in Stratford upon Avon for a few nights we may return.

    A first visit to this beautiful restaurant with bags of charm and a menu that drew us in with a 2/3 course set menu. We encountered friendly attentive staff that gave you space. Our experience in 1 Jan revealed a quietness that is maybe not so in peak season, which we enjoyed. All in all though an entirely fabulous dining experience.

    Wonderful Sunday lunch today. Wish I had booked last night too. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were all very amenable and efficient. All of them were excellent which is a good sign. Very pleasant atmosphere.

    We have visited this venue on a number of occasions and were pleased to see a new menu. There is a wide range of choices on the A La Carte menu, we enjoyed a sour dough pizza and scampi for our main course. The food is well presented and fresh. The staff at the resturant are friendly and ensure that you enjoy your visit. I would recommend this resurant and look forward to coming back.
