The Fox & Grapes is between two vibrant cities and combines a mix of good food and a large selection of draught products and spirits. Food is served daily from 12noon–8pm. A fine example of this is their air dried on the bone 40 day aged Yorkshire beef from Ripon. This was our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. Had a lovely birthday lunch. We chose from the lunchtime special menu which had lots of variety to choose from and is exceptionally good value. Each dish was beautifully cooked and presented (loved the added sparkler in my dessert because it was my birthday). Service was excellent, attentive but not over the top and not rushed. Ambiance for a lunchtime just after New Year was great, plenty people in which tells you what a gem it is. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable. When we are next in Harrogate we will certainly return.
