Great place, large car park. Food high end. Queing, seating, then paying is a right performance. I booked a table but still had to wait and queue to be shown to our table, then at the end of the meal queue again to pay. This is not a smooth operation. Get the waiting staff hand held card machines. People now can pay with their phones. Its such a rush of people all round the till counter. I have a dog but didn't have her with me. I leave her in the car. but today two dogs with muddy paws came in and one almost went right round the counter where the payment till is. Yuck food hygiene! Also get a loyalty card scheme going, must the only place we know that doesn't have one

Excellent food, great service and welcoming staff.

Really pleasant afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and an assortment of sweet deserts. Good atmosphere, not crowded and really excellent service. A little disappointed at having to pay for using Castles own car park when spending a reasonable amount of money in their venue bit overall would recommend the afternoon tea.

A very enjoyable long, lazy lunch. The food was excellent. The menu isn’t huge but that suits me fine, it means some thought has been given to the food which can be carefully prepared and cooked. The staff were very helpful, the service quite slow but that was fine, my niece and I had a lot of catching up to do and we were left alone, not hurried or interrupted. They were very good about catering for intolerances. I will definitely go again for a special occasion.
