Lovely food , service as usual our favourite restaurant

Absolutely recommend afternoon tea here. The food was excellent, absolutely delicious and so special, was a real treat. The service was outstanding as well, staff were so friendly, will definitely be back again in the future

Superb lunch at the Star for my wife’s birthday. Very tender steaks cooked to our liking. The best you’ll find anywhere. Personal service and lovely and quiet. We will definitely return.

Yet another superb dining experience at Cheal’s last evening. In all the meals we have enjoyed there, they have remained consistently outstanding throughout. The experienced and professional staff (who never refer to us as ‘guys’ or ‘mate’), the lovely comfortable surroundings and the exciting choice of dishes all add up to an evening of sheer enjoyment. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Beautiful presentation. The scones were delicious. The clotted cream and jam only brought out more of the delightful flavor of the scones. I have had an opportunity to try multiple different scones from different places and this is my favorite. Highly recommend. The sandwiches were also delicious.
