Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy. Stop in for some brunch on the weekends or some late night food.

    Loved the food and the presentation, Would have enjoyed more goat cheese with my beet salad. Having 1 Tablespoon of goat cheese left me wanting more. Bolognese was incredible Having the option for adding parm would have been great! Tomato soup was a star! Coffee was also great (from a coffee snob). Wished I would've asked for a to go cup on this cold winter day.

    The food was very good, large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and tentative. There was no wait time to be seated and our waitresses came over within 5 minutes (after we were seated) to take our drink orders. The food was flavorful (except for the stuffing, but then I only love my mom’s stuffing!😉). The Carrol singers were hard to hear although that may have been because the level of the noise from the crowd was a bit loud. The servers that brought our meals were very tentative and kind. Overall we all had a wonderful experience and we will definitely comeback for the New Year’s celebration!!!

    The space is very open and well arranged with a variety of seating options from sofas & chairs to tables and cozy booths. Cocktails are creative and tasty. The food is superb. It IS expensive, so be prepared for that…

    Love the woman chef who runs the kitchen at Conversation! We enjoyed the Bone-in Halibut very much! Good wine list too.
