Bar Red is located just east of Colfax and Glenarm, two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and directly across Colfax from the Golden Triangle. Bar Red offers Authentic Italian cuisine. Happy hour from 4pm-7pm and dinner from 5pm to close. The menu was prepared by Chef Luke McCoy. Chef Luke is classically trained in French and Italian Cuisine. Chef Luke's signature Seared Salmon Risotto is famous amongst regulars. All of Chef Luke's dishes are meticulously prepared with fresh scratch ingredients ...and his house-made Desserts are to die for. As a divorced woman without her son for the first Christmas ever, thank you to the staff at Ship Tavern for making my Christmas dinner with my friend special. Your exquisite hotel, lovely dining experience, and attentive staff made every moment pleasing from the valet, host, server, to the table busser that I made blush by saying Merry Christmas. Thank you for making me want to go back to savor some more while feeling included in the magic!

It is always a great pleasure to go to this restaurant. Not only is the food superb, the owners are awesome and the wait staff exceptional. We always ask for Joseph as our waiter because he is extremely attentive, always at your beck and call if necessary. He is just the best! Anxious to try the owners new restaurant - Whit's End in the Whittier neighborhood. It just recently opened.

Small cozy restaurant, and you could actually talk to the person at your table without having to shout. Attentive service, good food, and perfect sized portions.

Amanda took care of me for lunch great gal. Hostess was very polite and helpful. Definitely try the Calamari it’s so delicious! I saw the chef making pizzas for other guests!

The service was fantastic! Huge projection screen for watching sports. The food was delicious- so much better than what you expect at a hotel. We will eat here again.
