One of the best tea service offerings in Houston, with generous portions that will have you ready for a second pot of tea before you’re done! After trying some of Houston’s higher-end tea spots, I can confidently say the food here is top-notch. That said, the service was lacking—we waited over 10 minutes to see a waiter and rarely saw them afterward for refills or check-ins. I understand it’s the holidays and servers are stretched thin, but the restaurant wasn’t full, which made the delays more noticeable. With more attentive service, this place could easily blow others out of the water. The space could also use some sun shading for comfort during the day. The espresso martini has great flavor but could benefit from a better shake for a proper cream top. Lastly, the parking situation is confusing and nearly non-existent—a heads-up about the limited parking in the rear would be helpful.

The chef made sure to have a lobster for our reservation. They brought it out alive for us to enjoy as a family. Food is always amazing and the services are impeccable.

UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING EXPERIENCE AS USUAL! We love the sushi bar experience and often go early to eat sushi so we can interact with the chefs. This time may have been our favorite, best of any sushi restaurant we have visited in the world. Kudos to Chef T and Kane (I know I didn’t spell those right) for guiding us through a delicious journey of the UME menu. Fell in love with the Tasmanian Trout and Hamachi Belly! Yum yum yum! Outstanding server, Ben. Very knowledgeable, calm, attentive but not overbearing. Food was great. Pulpo was spectacular. Panacotta was too. Good price on wines. I am ready to return. Was there for late lunch which I would recommend.
