It’s all too easy here to spend time dreaming away over a pint or two, as guests have done since time immemorial. A newer addition to The Greyfriar that simply must be sampled is a cracking menu filled with contemporary dishes using seasonal and locally sourced food, as well as all your favourite pub grub style dishes.

We were super surprised to see we were the only people in the restaurant at 2pm for Sunday Roast. The venue is great, with great views, good service and food. No idea why it was sooooo quiet, it was a shame as we thought it was good. Just could have done with more people there. Maybe as it was on the pricier side at £24 for a beef roast? Hope with more advertising or something it would bring in the customers???

The Royal Exchange is a great pub. We love it and go there often. The team are friendly and welcoming and the ambience is second to none. I would highly recommend it.
